Digital health
Hospital and laboratory systems built for Africa's health facilities
Our own systems, designed around the way health facilities in Ghana and across Africa really work, from NHIS claims to Ghana Health Service returns, with English, French and Portuguese interfaces for facilities beyond Ghana.
Hospital information management system
HIMS-Odyssey
Every department on one patient record.
A patient registered at the front desk moves through vitals, consultation, the laboratory, imaging and the dispensary without a paper folder following them, and every charge lands on the same bill. The live dashboard shows how many patients are waiting at each point of care, so managers can see where the day is backing up while it is still happening.

Disease intelligence and surveillance
See what is happening in your catchment area
Real-time epidemiological monitoring flags WHO and Ghana Health Service notifiable diseases, tracks fever and influenza-like illness, and shows the top diagnoses and patient demographics for any period.
Built for NHIS
NHIA membership verification and claims prepared from the same record as treatment, so what was done and what is claimed always agree.
Works offline
Installed on a server at your premises and installable as an app, so departments keep working on the local network even when the internet is down.
A 360° view of every patient
Visits, results, prescriptions, admissions and bills for each patient sit in one electronic folder.

For third-party hospital management systems
Odyssey health data middleware
Hospitals, satellite clinics and the software they already use, linked into one network.
The middleware works alongside your existing hospital management system rather than replacing it. It exchanges data through secure APIs, never connects directly to the host system's database, and gives leadership a Medical Director's Portal covering every facility.
- One patient number across headquarters and every linked facility, with no duplicates
- Laboratory, radiology and other requests sent from one facility to another, with payment at the designated facility and results returned
- Disease intelligence with outbreak status by region and alert, epidemic and pandemic levels
- Statutory returns and management reports built from data across all facilities
- A patient portal, My Health Folder, so patients can see their own records from every facility
- Installable as an app on desktop and phone

Patient portal
My Health Folder: patients carry their records with them
Patients and their registered dependants sign in with their patient number and a one-time code sent by SMS, with the Ghana Card number as an optional extra check. They see their own records from every linked facility, on any phone.
- Visits, admissions, vital signs and imaging
- Results, shown once the laboratory has verified them
- Current and past medicines
- Bills and cover, family members and a downloadable summary
- A folder card with a QR code or share code that opens the folder for one visit and expires after four hours
- A privacy log of every time the folder was opened, with emergency access recorded and reviewed by the Medical Director
Laboratory information management system
Odyssey LIMS
Every result signed and traceable.
Odyssey LIMS runs the bench end to end: specimen registration, worklists, analyzer interfacing, microbiology culture and sensitivity, verification and release, with NHIS claims and reagent stock built in. The dashboard shows what is waiting to be collected, on the bench, awaiting sign-off and ready to release.
HL7 and ASTM analyzers
Results flow straight from connected analyzers, with unmapped analyzer codes flagged before they cause errors.
Two-step verification
Results are checked and signed off before release, and every action is kept in a full audit trail.
Bench readiness
Reagents at reorder level, expiring soon or past expiry are flagged, because results run on expired reagents are not defensible.

Laboratory equipment integration
Analyzer integration
Results go from the machine to the patient record automatically.
Our integration application handles each instrument's communication protocol, matches every result to the right request and posts it to the host system, removing transcription errors and saving bench time.
